Facilitation Skills

Increasingly HR professionals need to engage, influence and facilitate meetings, groups and conferences, both within HR and with line managers. The target group and the aim of the facilitation often varies and might include facilitating managers in business/people discussions, running focus groups, project meetings, managing the impact of change and engaging and involving staff in HR plans. The workshop aims to equip participants with the underpinning theory of facilitation techniques, group dynamics and processes. These will then be used to focus on real challenges and scenarios, using the facilitation ‘toolkit’ in practical situations to maximise impact and build confidence and skill as a facilitator.
