Hadley has 38 years experience as an OR and IT consultant, and has conducted over 130 assignments in the public and private sectors. He has developed pay bill models for a number of central government departments and agencies including the current Home Office and Prison Service models. The results have been used to design new grading structures, which minimise the short and long-term costs.
He has also been responsible for analysing a number of pay surveys for central government, which were used to inform pay negotiations. Hadley’s formal qualifications include an MA in Mathematics, a Diploma in Numerical Analysis and Automatic Computing (distinction), and a PhD on “The Analysis and Simulation of Multi-Access Computer Systems”.
